Planning a wedding in your home country can take 200 hours or more, so thinking about doing it abroad can be very daunting and stressful.

HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER
Professional wedding planners can help in such a number of ways, we have a good working relationship with suppliers; we can speak Spanish; we know the wedding venues very well and help you find the venue of your dreams. A good wedding planner will alleviate all stress and worry and ultimately save you time and money.
AGREE ON BUDGET AND GUESTS
Once you’ve looked into hiring your wedding planner, think about the budget and the number of guests you want to invite. Send out your save the dates well in advance – you may be surprised by the number that confirms. The number of guests you have could affect the venue that you choose so it is important to have an idea of this number before you start looking for that special venue.
ORGANISE IN ADVANCE
Venues can be booked well in advance so once you have decided upon Spain as your wedding destination, prepare to start looking at venues and think about what it is you require within a venue. Do you want to be at the beach or in the countryside? Modern or traditional?
VISIT YOUR LOCATION
Your wedding planner will be able to send you many venue suggestions and once you’ve picked your favourite, you should a visit to Spain to see your chosen locations. Most likely you will need to visit Spain at least once more when you have chosen the venue so that you can have your menu tasting and meet any suppliers that you would like to.
TAKE CARE OF THE LEGALITIES
Legally you can only be married in Spain as a foreigner in a Catholic church, so if this is not possible for you, then you have two options. You can take care of the legalities in your home country or you can be married legally in Gibraltar before the blessing ceremony in Spain.
HELP YOUR GUESTS
Your wedding planner will be able to suggest hotels that are nearby to your venue for your guests to stay and should be able to negotiate rates especially for your guests. We can also help to suggest airport transfers, excursions during their stay and restaurants / entertainment while they are here for your wedding.
