White Wedding in Sotogrande
With family ties to the area, Sophie and George knew they wanted their wedding in Sotogrande, and when they saw Cancha II for the first time, they fell in love with it. With the lush green polo fields, rustic restaurant and fairytale, tree-lined ceremony space it was perfect for their style.
Sophie had a clear vision of the wedding from the beginning and wanted the venue to speak for itself, merely highlighted with beautiful flowers and touches of bespoke styling.
We worked closely together in the months before the wedding, booking in their chosen suppliers that included a string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail, and DJ for the after dinner dancing.
The food at the restaurant is stunningly sumptuous and after choosing the BBQ meats option, Sophie and George and their guests enjoyed steak, Iberian pork and seabass for dinner.
With all the beautiful green surroundings, Sophie wanted to keep all of the flowers to one simple colour – white – and we added greenery to the centres of the tables to mirror the green and white theme.
They wanted the party to be in full swing straight after dinner so we unveiled a sparking LED lit dancefloor covered by a canopy of twinkling fairy lights to create the intimate yet elegant atmosphere while DJ Lee pumped out the tunes! Once Sophie had changed into her evening dress, so she could dance all night, the party was in full swing.
