This beautiful wedding of Victoria and Eric was held at the Vincci Estrella del Mar Beach Club and when I was asked to help co-ordinate the wedding, I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to work with.
Victoria had chosen the theme of the wedding to be elegant and sophisticated with a white and silver colour scheme which complemented the beach clubs modern style perfectly. Marta and Miguel from the beach club were on hand for every detail and for a wedding by the sea it really is an ideal venue.
While Victoria got ready at the hotel with her family and bridesmaids and with help from Liza Mayne and Barbra doing their make-up and hair, the wonderful team from Virginia Florista adorned the venue with Victoria’s chosen flowers gypsophila, white rose petals and touches of bling on the tables.
The beautiful three tiered cake, which sat on a tier of gypsophila, was created by Sweet Things by Fi and the amazing dancefloor which lit up once it got dark was provided by Entire Occasions.
When Eric arrived I could sense he was nervous but very excited and surrounded by friends and family he took his spot at the top of the aisle alongside Minister Liz Wilkinson to wait for his bride.
Victoria arrived with her mother and bridesmaids looking absolutely beautiful and her simple yet stylish bouquet added the perfect extra touch to her stunning dress from Pronovias.
As the couple were married under the fading sunset there were a few tears all round but when Eric’s daughter sang to the couple, there was not a dry eye in sight.
After the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed champagne round the pool with canapés followed by a delicious buffet style wedding breakfast. They then took to the dance floor with music provided by DJ Ian Preston who looked very dapper in his black tie.
The wedding was captured in all its magical beauty by the talented Jeremy Standley who also provided a photo booth which presented much hilarity for all the guests.
Many thanks to all who helped put together this fabulous day and Congratulations to Victoria and Eric!
